Description: NIH Work Life Seminar

In our fast-paced society, people are feeling overwhelmed, overworked, and overstressed. They are saying: "My plate is too full!" "Help, I'm stressed out!" When there’s too much stress, people experience physical, emotional, behavioral, relationship, and work problems. Learning how to manage the challenges of daily living is important for personal and professional success as well as good health. This seminar focuses on the concept of stress as a personal reaction to changes individuals experience during life events and in everyday hassles. It offers an array of techniques for taking control when possible and learning how to let go when it is the more effective strategy. Participants will learn how to practice personal resiliency in the face of stress.
