Description: Prior to nuclear extrusion from pronormoblasts, critical pathways are developed and continue functioning to ensure optimal erythrocyte function. Knowledge about individual gene products does not necessarily inform us about pathways/processes and their interactions. The purpose of this workshop is to explore these processes and to discuss metabolic reprogramming, proteostasis, integration of transcriptomics, proteomics and other -omics, and enucleation. Please join us in an open forum to discuss the state of the field and to identify gaps in our knowledge.
