The symposium will feature Dr. Hannah Valantine (Scientific Workforce Diversity/Office of the Director/NIH), Dr. Kathy Zoon (Scientist Emeritus; previous Scientific Director NIAID), and Nesrine Taha (Founder and CEO of the Foundation for American Advancement). The panelists will offer ideas on how underrepresented groups can move into leadership positions and become more aware of leadership/award opportunities that will advance their careers. Each panelist will speak for about 20 min. There will be time for questions. The panel will be followed by a networking reception!
