Description: The Division of AIDS (DAIDS) at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), National Institutes of Health (NIH), is sponsoring a program-driven meeting focused on the development of innovative strategies to cure HIV infection. The meeting will cover a comprehensive range of topics spanning basic and translational research, drug discovery and development, and clinical research. The purpose of this meeting is to bring together researchers studying HIV persistence and cure strategies, including the NIH-funded Martin Delaney Collaboratories, investigators in complementary disciplines, and community members, to share scientific results and engage in active discussion about the merits of various approaches under investigation. These discussions are intended to stimulate new collaborations and ideas for future research.
