Description: The third meeting of the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (Committee) will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time and on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time. On September 12, 2023, the public will have the opportunity to provide oral comments to the Committee virtually. On September 13, 2023, the Committee will provide updates from each subcommittee and have deliberation by the full Committee regarding progress made since the second public meeting, including protocol development, evidence review and synthesis, and systematic review findings. The Committee will also discuss plans for future work. In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, deliberations of the Committee will occur in a public forum.
