||This event will include the 5th Ruth L. Kirschstein Memorial Lectureship, titled “Bias Is a Habit We Must All Work Hard to Break” and presented by Molly L. Carnes, M.D., M.S.; the Legacy of Leadership Lecture, presented by Claire Pomeroy, M.D., M.B.A.; presentations on research findings by leading BIRCWH Scholars; and a live Q&A session. The e-poster session for the BIRCWH Scholar abstracts will occur in the afternoon.
BIRCWH is an institutional mentored career-development program designed to connect junior faculty, known as BIRCWH Scholars, to senior faculty mentors with shared interest in women’s health and sex differences research. More information about BIRCWH can be found here.
