Description: The proposed meeting, to be co-organized by the CLL Society and NHLBI, will be a half-day forum intended to provide education on CLL, disease presentation, clinical course, treatment options and participation in clinical trials. The researchers at NIH will highlight ongoing clinical trials for CLL at NIH and other institutions, as well as what it means to participate in a clinical trial. They will also provide an overview of the most recent advances in the treatment of CLL. The forum is directed at patients and caregivers.
