Professional associations, patients, safety experts, hospital accreditation standards and many U.S. states now endorse or require disclosure of medical errors. However, there remains significant debate regarding how medical errors should be disclosed. Please join us to discuss a critical part of this debate: who should disclose and apologize for medical errors?
