Mobile and wireless health (mHealth) technologies offer the potential to advance research, prevent disease, enhance diagnostics, improve treatment, improve adherence, reduce disparities, increase access to health services, and lower healthcare costs in ways previously unimaginable. Real-time, continuous biological, behavioral and environmental data collected by mHealth technologies will improve our understanding of the etiology of health and disease, particularly when integrated with other data such as genomics, biomarkers, and electronic medical records. This panel workshop will explore the use of mHealth to enhance measurement, health research and health outcomes in the US and the global community.
