I will discuss our efforts to move from the identification of the Huntington's Disease gene towards the identification of small molecules which can ameliorate or block its pathological effects. I will then discuss strategies for the identification of genes for complex human genetic traits focused on the ways in which genome-wide SNP and haplotype analysis can achieve maximum power.\n
