be recorded and made available for viewers to watch at their convenience
as an on-demand video or a downloadable file. CIT can also broadcast

The September 19, 2014, joint meeting of the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences Advisory Council and the Cures Acceleration Network (CAN) Review Board will feature presentations by NCATS leadership, the CAN Review Board and invited guests. Presentations will include a Director’s Report, trends in NINDS funding of basic and applied neuroscience, as well as CTSA and Tissue Chip for Drug Screening program updates. Council subcommittees also will report on 1) patient engagement; 2) partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and venture capital firms; and 3) medical technologies. In addition, NCATS staff will present CAN and Council Concept Clearances of proposed initiatives for consideration and approval by Council.
