be recorded and made available for viewers to watch at their convenience
as an on-demand video or a downloadable podcast. CIT can also broadcast

The May 16, 2014, joint meeting of the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences Advisory Council and the Cures Acceleration Network (CAN) Review Board will feature presentations by NCATS leadership, the CAN Review Board and invited guests. The meeting will feature a Director’s Report, a presentation by the NCATS Advisory Council Working Group on the IOM Report: The CTSA Program, and proposed CAN initiatives for Fiscal Year 2015. Council subcommittees also will report on 1) patient engagement; 2) partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and venture capital firms; and 3) medical technologies. In addition, NCATS staff will present a Concept Clearance of proposed initiatives for consideration and approval by Council.
