Sex differences in the sleep and circadian behavior of Drosophila melanogaster

Tuesday, May 22, 2018, 3:00:00 PM, 1 hour.

Description: SGHD SIG

Often, sleep and circadian behavior studies in flies summarize findings for both sexes combined. However, significant differences in male and female sleep and activity patterns exist. This talk will explore those differences, including differential sensitivities to sleep- and circadian-disrupting stimuli.
