This includes the support of COVID-19 diagnosis\, the study of environmental contamination in the hospital with SARS-CoV-2\, the study of the feasibility of re-sterilization of FFP3 masks\, and extensive support of operational management\, logistics\, administration\, and communication.\n\n The COVID-19 Genomics UK consortium\, which Prof. Peacock co-established\, is the major sequencing effort in the UK that helped to uncover and track the spread of the UK B.1.1.7 and other SARS-CoV-2 variants. As such\, Prof. Peacock's talk will outline the current state of the real-time SARS-CoV-2 sequencing to investigate healthcare-associated COVID-19 infections\, in particular\, and viral host dynamics. The talk will further describe the UK's response to the COVID-19 pandemic and impact of SARS-CoV-2 Variants of Concern. \n\nFor more information go to https://oir.nih.gov/sigs/covid-19-scientific-interest-group https://oir.nih.gov/sigs/covid-19-scientific-interest-group X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:\n\n
