A Short Course on Mathematical Modeling of Signaling Mechanisms in Biology. This four hour course will introduce Alliance members to the basics of modeling and its uses: constructing a model from data plus both logical and physical knowledge; the basics of analysis, simulations, and comparison with experiment; the development and importance of biologically relevant theory.
