Description: In partnership with other NIH Institutes and Centers and U.S. agencies, the Fogarty International Center (FIC) announces a major international conference: "Stigma and Global Health: Developing a Research Agenda." Focusing on stigma as it relates to public health, this conference will examine the causes and consequences of stigma, both in the developing world and the United States. Together, participants and speakers will seek to identify the gaps in disease-associated stigma research.
