Description: Do you love working in the lab and using your science to help others answer research questions, but aren't sure academia is for you? Join us to learn about careers operating in a core facility or working for service companies. This panel will include specialists who operate core facilities, offer bioinformatics/statistical consulting, and work for private corporations - all using their science to help others. Learn how you can join this growing industry and whether this is the right career for you. Invited speakers will introduce their career path and then the floor will be open for a question and answer session with the panelists.
