Description: Proteomics has generated a large amount of data about the proteins present in many types of biological samples. The informatics problems of storing and a presenting this large volume of data in a form that is useful to both the biological and technology development communities have proven to be quite challenging. This talk will discuss current approaches to solving these problems and offer some perspectives on how the availability of this information is influencing the design and interpretation of proteomics experiments.
