Description: The Fogarty International Center and the National Institute on Dental and Craniofacial Research are pleased to announce the 2004 David E. Barmes Global Health Lecture. Entitled, "Health Challenges for Research in the 21st Century," the lecture will be presented by Dr. Jong-wook Lee, Director General of the World Health Organization. Dr. Lee has been a world leader in the fight against two of the greatest challenges to international health and development- tuberculosis, and vaccine preventable diseases of children.
