Description: This year our theme is "The Role of Genomic Research in Global Health,"and will feature talks on a range of topics in genomics and global health (microbiome, infectious diseases, inherited/genetic conditions, non-communicable diseases, genetic engineering), including speakers from NIH, HHS Office of Global Affairs, and universities in the region. We are thrilled to be having NIH Director Francis Collins as a special guest and Fogarty International Center's Dr. Jim Herrington as our keynote speaker. There will also be sessions on global health career tracts in research and in government
