Description:	This NIH event was a half-day meeting to present the latest science and dietary guidance to support a comprehensive federal campaign to reduce the dietary sodium intakes of the U.S. population. The presentaitons included the evidence used to formulate the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2010 sodium recommendations, methods used to assess population sodium intakes and educate consumers, onging efforts to reduce sodium in the U.S. food supply, and programs and policies to improve the nutritional quality of school meals.
