Description: The Health in Buildings Roundtable (HiBR) joins the NIH Division of Environmental Protection and the American College of Sports Medicine in inviting you to attend a one-day conference designed to investigate the link between the built environment and human health. The goals of the HiBR conference are to identify aspects of the built environment that are detrimental to human health; to discuss design elements that can support improved human health; and to create the foundation for establishing a National agenda for public health research and policy. This innovative conference will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 8:00am until 4:00pm in the Natcher Conference Center on the NIH Bethesda campus. Social and behavioral psychologists, researchers in the fields of chemistry, toxicology, environmental medicine and public health will join experts in architecture, health and wellness, physical fitness practitioners, and practicing physicians to host this unique roundtable conference.
