Description:	NIH will celebrate the power of clear writing with a special award ceremony. NIH Director Elias A. Zerhouni, M.D., will present the third annual NIH Plain Language Awards honoring NIH communicators who have demonstrated outstanding use of plain language in their writing. Preceding the presentation of the awards, guest speaker, Cokie Roberts, chief congressional analyst for ABC News and eight year co-anchor of "This Week with Sam Donaldson and Cokie Roberts" will discuss the challenge of clear communication via the media. She also serves as news analyst for National Public Radio and is author of the national bestseller, "We Are Our Mother's Daughters".
