Description:	This conference provides a unique opportunity to examine the broad implications of family structure, processes, and policies for physical and mental health over the life course by bringing together leading sociologists, psychologists, economists, physicians, epidemiologists, and policy experts, as well as representatives from major foundations. The six sessions will facilitate disciplinary "cross-talk" about cutting-edge research and current controversies in the rapidly evolving study of families and health. Each session will feature four internationally renowned scholars who bring distinctive yet complementary perspectives.
