Description:	The Office of the Surgeon General, in conjunction with the Chief Professional Officers, USPHS, will present an interactive satellite broadcast to introduce VADM Richard Carmona, 17th Surgeon General of the United States Public Health Service. VADM Carmona was sworn in as Surgeon General, USPHS, on Monday, August 5, 2002. This program will be the first opportunity for the Surgeon General to address the Commissioned Corps, and the first time we will use Distance Learning Technology to address Officers nationwide.
