Description:	The NIH Director's Wednesday Afternoon Lecture Series includes weekly scientific talks by some of the top researchers in the biomedical sciences worldwide. The majority of mature T lymphocytes fall into one of two functional categories: helper cells, with T cell antigen receptors specific for peptides complexed to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecules on antigen-presenting cells, and cytotoxic cells, which recognize peptides bound to MHC class I molecules on target cells.
